What's included in the price?

Fishing equipment, licenses, water bottles, cooler for drinks and food with ice, and a cooler for keeper fish. Capt. Matt will fillet your fish as well! 

What kind of fishing will we be doing?

Depending on the time of year and what's biting we could be fishing grass flats, mangrove islands, or docks, in the bay using live pilchards as bait. Nearshore fishing usually in the wintertime months is a bottom fishing style. Fishing over ledges, hard bottom, and artificial reefs.

What fish will we be targeting? 

During Spring, Summer, and Fall Capt. Matt is usually targeting Snook, Redfish, and Trout in the bay. Winter months Capt. Matt targets sheepshead, hogfish, and mangrove snapper. Mackerel and kingfish migrate through in the spring and fall as well. 

What kind of boat will we be fishing on?

Capt. Matt has a 23 foot Hanson with an extremely wide beam of 9 and a half feet making it the most spacious stable fishing platform in its size range. The boat has a Bimini cover for shade in the warmer months. The boat is equipped with state-of-the-art electronics to help us find the best fishing spots.

Do we need fishing licenses?

No, Capt. Matt has a charter/umbrella license that covers everyone on the boat.

How many people can I bring on my charter?

4 People total. 

What should we bring?

Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, snacks, and drinks! (Capt. Matt provides water bottles.)

Is alcohol allowed on the boat?

Yes, all alcohol must be consumed responsibly, no glass bottles are permitted on the boat.

Does my Child/ren need a life jacket?

Florida law is children 6 and under must have a life jacket, Capt. Matt has comfortable life jackets for our young anglers! (Please let Capt. Matt know if life jackets are needed before the trip.

Where do we leave from?

Capt. Matt has multiple docks where we can meet for your convenience.

What is the cancellation policy?

48-hour notice of cancelation is appreciated. Trips cancelled due to weather have the option to reschedule if another day is available.

Are you licensed and Insured?

Yes, Capt. Matt holds a USCG license and is fully insured!
